THE DARING NEW ADVENTURES OF SUPERGIRL #1

Supergirl, a super-human Kryptonian hidden behind the

facade of a shy brunette college student,found her way to Earth

as a fifteen-year-old and quickly hooked up with her cousin, Superman.

After graduating from high school, Supergirl found herself battling villains in San Francisco and Chicago.

This brief series shortened its name to Supergirl in 1983. Supergirl went back to making occasional appearances as a guest super-heroine, eventually dying saving her cousin in Crisis on Infinite Earths #7  (CGC and NON-CGC copies of Crisis # 7 also for sale here at Crazy Ed's by the way!)

By the way, a set of this same series (pictured below, along with her autograph to Ed) was bought from Crazy Ed by TV's SMALLVILLE  Laura Vandervoort as Kara/Supergirl
