AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #68 from January 1969 in CGC VF/NM 9.0, Off-White pages.
This late silver age book by the great Spiderman team of Stan Lee and John Romita!
The copy is a Very Fine/NM CGC 9.0 Universal copy, which means it is unadulterated and not restored in any fashion! It falls justinto the upper edges of the "best collector's grade" andnears the minimum for "investment grade." It would make a perfect addition to a coolection of Silver age Amazing Spiderman.
The copy seems to have one soft corner; it shows some wear in the bottom right corner. The distributor ink on the top edge, which appears as a thin red/pink line at the top, is a NORMAL part of comic handling in the shipping process and is NOT considered a defect that reduces a grade-like an arrival date, it is part of the silver age history of the issue.
And Crazy Ed includes a solid readable copy for you to enjoy the storyline along with the CGC version!
A NOTE ABOUT CGC PRICING & VALUES: The 2009 Overstreet guide (already nearly a year old) price for the issue in 9.2 Near Mint minus is $160.00 Books in the NM ranges commonly go for above guide; there is usually a premium for CGC copies, especially with high page quality! Someone spent $29-49 to have this book graded and then there is the (modest) value to the reader copy!
CGC items are carefully packed for protection when shipped.
