The 1960's sitcom the Munsters starred a family of...Monsters. A Frankenstein dad, vampires for Grandpa, son Eddie and Mother, and a normal pretty blonde cousin. They lived an somewhat ordinary life in a gothic mansion in an ordinary neighborhood, scaring the heck out of neighbors and visitors.
The series was introduced at the 1997 San Diego Comic Con, and Crazy Ed has known the creators/publishers since they 1st bought the rights to publish the Munsters and other TV series.
Thanks to my friend Marc Patten, who edited and published these books.
There are 2 sets available, one set has a scarcer blue colored background version of Issue #2. This cover also features the original Marilyn actress (Beverly Owen) before Pat Priest took over (as seen on the red cover). The surcharge for the scarcer blue version of issue # 2 is $4 added to the cost for the set with the regular red background.
Otherwise the Black and White interiors are identical between the sets.
Note: modern sets average condition is VF/NM 9.0 or better unless noted.
