KA-ZAR, a Great Bronze Age Hero!

Ka-Zar is the Lord of the Savage Land, a strange jungle oasis located in the Antarctic. The son of a slain scientist, Ka-Zar was raised in the wild and befriended by the giant sabre-tooth tiger named Zabu. Now grown, Ka-Zar the Savage is a fearless adventurer who battles both the dinosaur-like animals around him and outside forces that would despoil the Savage Land. He is joined in these battles by Zabu.

Here, the # 1 in the set is a High grade looking specimen, with an overall appearance of a VF+ grade, but one small crease in the BRC and some stains on the back keep the issue from grading higher than a FN+

Issues 2-5 are all very nice specimens that average grade about VF 8.0, with no coupons out or other hidden defects. Pictured in the slide show reel above are issues 1-2 with front and back covers, and issues 3-5 also.  The set would have an Overstreet value of approximately $40-45.
