FANTASTIC FOUR #17 Solid Copy DR. DOOM!
In Fantastic Four #16 (guest starring the Antman), Doctor Doom met and fought the Fantastic Four.
In FF #17, the next issue (August 1963) the great team of Stan Lee and Jack Kirby pick up the pace with a new threat by Doom as he returns for the next round of battle, using the classic "Divide & Conquer" approach.
This solid and pretty copy has average wear and would likely grade in the range of 3.0-3.5. There is a 1/2 " spine tear at the top left corner, consistent with the grade. The book is complete and solid on both staples; the age of the book is showing in some tanning spots on the interior covers. The back cover (shown ) is clean and bright except for the tanning spots described.
PRICING: the book is priced in line with the 2009 Overstreet Price guide (already nearly a year old) for the book in grade. An early issue of this classic Marvel series, and a great copy to help a collector trying to fill a run!
