• 80 Pg Giant # 1 was advertised initially as Superman Annual #9--but DC began a new series of 80 Pg Giants, with new numbering, in Summer 1964.
• Here we are offering one of the best, Issue 11, featuring LUTHOR battles!
• The 1st 15 of these 80 Page Giants compose one of the best remembered & loved DC books of the Mid-1960's. Several focused on the Superman family, but others dealt with batman, Flash, the JLA and one dealt with Sgt. Rock & Easy Company! Some 1960's collectors treasure these issues more than anything else from their Childhood as the way they could read and enjoy reprinted older or classic Golden age DC stories.
• 80 Pg Giants later migrated to the regular series of each character, appearing in Batman, Superman, Flash, Jimmy, Lois, JLA, World's Finest and even the war and romance issues! There are 89 of these particular Giants published from 1964-1972 and the Overstreet Guide lists them all!
